When Alexis became Cecil Colby's widow in season 3 she did not move to his "Nine Oaks" mansion. But she did get a slick new penthouse to huff, puff, connive and eat men alive in.
The exterior of the penthouse we see whenever that evil Alexis tune plays in the background belongs to the building called "The Longford" in Los Angeles, California.
The luxury high-rise condominium is located at 10790 Wilshire Boulevard. It was built in 1979 and it has 19 stories. There are 84 two-three bedroom units and allegedly they rarely go on the market.

You've done a fantastic job putting this together - Filoli and the Arden Villa were well known locations, but I never had any idea where the exteriors for Alexis's penthouse, Denver Carrington, ColbyCo and The Carlton were located - this is great! Thank you.
